Mr. Ross’ real estate career spans a broad range of experiences including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, financing, development and lending. Mr. Ross began his real estate career after graduating from Columbia Business School when he joined Sterling American Property; a New York-based discretionary real estate fund manager that had invested over $4.5 billion since its inception. As a member of the Sterling acquisitions team, Mr. Ross focused on the multifamily and office sectors. In 2005, Mr. Ross joined GoldenTree InSite Partners. At that time, GoldenTree and its affiliates managed approximately $10 billion of discretionary capital across a range of investment strategies including multiple real estate funds with over $1 billion of combined equity commitments. At GoldenTree, Mr. Ross’ primary responsibilities included evaluating new investments as well as asset management of properties within the company’s portfolio. Mr. Ross has also worked in the investment banking division of UBS and as a business strategy consultant at IBM Global Services. He graduated with high distinction from Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business and has an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
